Havana Synagogue Tour

Detailed description

This tour is designed for visitors who wish to make a brief visit to the Jewish Community of Cuba, up to 1 hour. You will visit the largest synagogue in the country, Temple Beth Shalom, which is part of the entire building that corresponds to the Board of Trustees of the House of the Hebrew Community of Cuba.

During your visit you will have the opportunity to contemplate the architecture of this important building, visit the premises of different community projects such as the Jewish Sunday school "Albert Einstein", a community pharmacy, a youth center, a library, a social hall and the temple.

Donations for visiting the synagogues

Cash donations are very important for the synagogues in Cuba to keep their doors open for members of the Cuban Jewish community and for foreign visitors. Therefore a minimum donation of 20 USD is requested for each synagogue visited.
