Adath Israel Synagogue
The Adath Israel Synagogue is the only Orthodox synagogue in Cuba and holds daily services. Located in what was once the Jewish quarter of Old Havana, it is a place that holds much of the historical heritage of Jews in Cuba. The congregation originated in 1925, founded by the Ashkenazi community of Havana; however, the current synagogue was officially established in 1959. Its facilities include:
- A temple with a capacity of 600 people
- A smaller temple for daily services
- A social hall
- A mikveh
